Getting calls from the listing sites Many sites we submit information to will try to contact your business and upsell you on “premium listings” and other paid services. This is an unavoidable side effect of building new listings. We don’t recommend paying for services on these sites. The free listing we’ve just created for you will suffice. When will I see results? We do not guarantee when the listings will go live. Once the work is complete, listings “go live” at various rates. Some sites will publish your listing the same day, others may take a few weeks or months. Every site is different and we have no control over what happens after we submit a listing. Most clients start to see benefits from the work in 2 to 3 months as Google discovers these new listings. Rankings are dependent on hundreds of factors and your benefit will vary depending on your industry, city, competition and other SEO factors.
What are backlinks and why do they matter? We have started building backlinks for your business. These are links from other businesses that love what you do. Google loves when others say they love your business model and it helps your SEO score.
We are submitting to over 100 sites that are relative to your site. We expect to have several backlinks by the end of the week and it will continue to grow as we contact more businesses. Some of these businesses will probably be in the same field as you but they are local to their community and don’t mind sharing a link to you. Just as you share links that show you are reputable and have value, they too will do the same. These will continue to grow over the coming months.
